Nová doba prináša aj nové témy a ani Tatran v tomto smere nezaháľa a stále prináša invenčné tituly. Medzi ne možno zaradiť aj debutový román Martina Kubuša. Ani ryba, asi rak púta zaujímavou formou spracovania, výstrednými postavami a svetom zastretým bežným smrteľníkom závojom tajomna. A hoci sa príbeh prakticky zameriava iba na dve osoby, vôbec nenudí. Linda sa vyznačuje ako novinárka typickou dravosťou, smädom po senzáciách a Jonatánova spoveď jej často lezie na nervy. Jej slovník aj prístup k životu reflektujú súčasnú plytkosť, ale aj v nej sa sem-tam zablysne aj čosi pozitívne. Jonatán je o poznanie vnútorne bohatší, a to tak životne, ako aj myšlienkovo. Čitateľ sa stretne s množstvom podnetov od náboženstva cez kultúru až po obyčajnú ľudskosť. Ani ryba, asi rak zdanlivo nijako nevyčnieva, ale nedajte sa oklamať. Martin Kubuš je na dobrej ceste vydupať si cestičku medzi naše výrazné talenty.
